I've been adding a few people to my watchlist today, with probably more to come soon. I am so bad at keeping this list up to date, I only manage to update it now and again, sorry! I'm a pretty rubbish friend, really.

Please don't be offended if I seem to have overlooked you but I have a great many watchers and commenters which makes it impractical to reciprocate as I can only watch a certain number of individuals and groups.

We got about 6 inches of snow Friday.

At times it came down quite thick. I had to go out and play in it. What fun. It won't last long. It's supposed to warm next week and all that will be left are piled of dirty snow. Other than that not one exciting thing happened last week. I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow. I'll update if there is anything important.

I got the results of my bone density test. Definately osteopina, but no osteoporosis. Great news. I am to continue doing what I've always done.

That means no new meds.
Winter has finally come. We have a few inches of snow on the ground and it's cold.

I love snow. My balcony door has been fixed so I can go out and take photos. I don't know how soon. When we have a beautiful clear evening.
There is some sad news. I am losing my next door neighbor. She is in the final stages of lung cancer. Her Dr. had missed it all this time. She was so sweet to me when I first moved in. We became good friends. She is not expected to last the weekend.

Winter has finally shown it's face. It's been snowing off and on since Friday. We now have a lovely white blanket covering everything. Sadly, my balcony door is frozen and I can't take pictures. I'll see if I can get someone to fix it this week.
My Dr. says I am doing fine. He changed a couple of meds and Tuesday I go for a bone density test. Other than that nothing is wrong.

There is a child in the apartment over me. Make it go home.!!!!!!!!! The amount of noise one toddler can make is amazing.

Happy EasterBunnies, chicks, and colorful eggs. What fun.

First I want to apologize for not getting messages answered this week. Everytime I would get started, something would interupt me. I will get them answered soon, along with the newer ones.
What a week it was. Since my eye surgery was canceled at the last minute, Becky and I decided to spend the day together anyway. What fun. We went to a Chinese Buffet for lunch. The place is huge, 12 tables and the food is great. They also have a sushi bar and steaks. Stopped at my favorite craft store and spent the rest of the day looking for candy stores. Yesterday Becky and my son in law came and got the last of Mom's things that have been taking up space in my apartment. I now have the whole place to myself. It is so wonderful not to have all those totes and boxes looming over me.

I've made it through the first week of the new year, and nothing really interesting has happened. I do love quiet weeks. I'm down to unpacking the little things. I have one display cabinet up. Now I need to figure out where to put the second one. I think know where the ones with the doors are. Becky is going to look. I sure hope she finds them. I looked up what it would cost to replace them and was stunned. Most were over $200.00. I will have to check the local thrift stores to see what they have. I love my minis and want them displayed.
I have a Dr. appointment Tuesday, to go over my meds and get some bloodwork done. I'll update if there is anything important. I am also getting very annoyed with my medical insurance company. They are invasive. I have to go to a meeting to discuss my diabetes, as if I didn't know how

First of all - the CONTEST begins tomorrow!
The theme is "Reflections" and all media are welcome!
The contest starts on May, 1 and ends on May, 31
Here are the rules:

1. The entiries should be new, submitted not earlier than April 2012.

2. The entry should depict some kind of a reflection. If it's not obvious an explanation should be given in the comment.

4. Each artist may submit not more than 3 entries (in one or different media)

5. The entries should be submitted to the contest folder (it will be opened for submissions on May, 1)

It's going to be one of those days.

I woke up to thunder and lightning this morning. Looks like there will be storms on and off all day. This week hasn't been a whole lot better. I spent a lot of time the first part of the week rearranging my apartment and cleaning places I hadn't been able to clean for months. Thursday started ok. Went and did some grocery shopping in the morning. Afternoon went to hell. My desktop went pfffft-fzzz and froze up. The desktop icons looked like they were in 3d. So I forced a shutdown and restarted in safe mode. Same thing happened without the noise. Tried it again normally. did it again. It gets almost loaded and everything freezes. Luckily I have the laptop. I'll be using that untill I can find someone to figure ou what's wrong with poor Gloria and fix her. It's going to be a while. I have very little money left this month. It took all my cash to pay for the truck last weekend. It's going to be a long month.

On a brighter note, Mom will be 90 on Tuesday. I will call her then.
